Dubai's two largest agricultural companies, Crop One Holding, have partnered with Emirate Flight Catering to produce 1,000 tons of green vegetables a day without the use of chemicals, especially with minimal water. According to a release from techcrunch.
The two companies' farms are located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, near the Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai World Central, and have a production capacity of more than 1,000 vegetables per year on a total area of 0658 square meter.
The farm, which started in 2018 with a joint venture of $ 40 million, uses less than 95 percent of the water and is guaranteed to produce three tonnes of greens a day. In addition, this month, those traveling with Emirate will be able to taste these vegetables, as well as salads and more greens.
People living in the United Arab Emirates can buy vegetables from these two companies with confidence because the vegetables grown do not contain pesticides, herbicides, or other chemicals, so we can eat them without washing them.
Craig Ratajczyk, CEO of Crop One Holding, said in a statement: "We are very proud to bring the best technology to this innovative food industry with our joint venture partners.
